Goa Tourism kicked off the 2025–26 season with the arrival of the first international charter flight from Almaty, Kazakhstan, on October 25. Operated by SCAT Airlines (Flight VSV5212), the aircraft landed at Dabolim Airport at 5:30 a.m., bringing in enthusiastic visitors eager to experience Goa’s vibrant culture, cuisine, and natural charm.
Tourism Minister Rohan A. Khaunte said the flight reflects Goa’s growing global appeal and its efforts to build sustainable international connections. Tourism Director Kedar Naik highlighted that each charter reinforces Goa’s position as a top leisure destination.

A warm welcome ceremony, complete with garlands, music, and a cake-cutting event, was organised by the Department of Tourism along with Concord Exotic Voyages and TTAG. With more charters expected soon, Goa Tourism continues to promote its “Goa Beyond Beaches” initiative to attract diverse travellers worldwide.
