Sudin Dhavalikar reaffirms MGP-BJP alliance, backs Dr Ketan Bhatikar’s decision

Maharashtrawadi Gomantak Party (MGP) leader Sudin Dhavalikar said he respects the decision taken by Dr Ketan Bhatikar regarding the Ponda by-elections and described him as a sincere and hardworking party member. Dhavalikar stated that he would personally speak to Dr Bhatikar to discuss the matter. Emphasising party unity, Dhavalikar reiterated that the MGP continues to maintain its alliance with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and that all party workers must adhere to the terms of this partnership. He added that the statement issued by the MGP president is binding on every member of the party and that discipline and collective responsibility remain essential within the organisation. Dhavalikar also expressed confidence that the alliance between the MGP and BJP would continue to function smoothly in the best interest of the people of Goa. His remarks came amid speculation surrounding internal disagreements ahead of the Ponda by-poll.
