Goa right place for paduka darshan: CM

Chief Minister Digambar Kamat has said that Goa was right place to bring Paduka of Saibaba who preached that all are one and all religions are equal. He said Goa is also land where people from all faith live in harmony.
Chief Minister was speaking as chief guest at the Sai Bhakta Sammelan held at Campal , Panjim organised on the occasion of Sai Paduka Darshan Sohala in Goa. Sai Paduka were displayed at Campal for whole day and will be kept for Darshan for devotees on February 23, till 12 noon.
Vinayak Anna Maharaj, MLA of Maharashtra and President of Sai Sansthan Trust Jayantrao Sasane, former chief minister Shashikala Kakodkar, former Union Minister Ramakant Khalap, Mayor of Panaji Tony Rodrigues, President of Local organizing Committee Anil Khaunte, Ahok Khambekar, Trustee were present on the occasion.
Speaking further chief minister expressed gratitude on behalf of Goa to Shree Sai Sanstan, Shirdi for bringing Sai Paduka to Goa and honouring Goa State to become first State in the Country to have Sai Paduka outside Shirdi.
Kamat congratulated the organising committee and trustee of Sai Sansthan for organizing darshan sohala in proper way. Referring to request made earlier by Anil Kaunte, chairman of the Organising Committee to Sai Sansthan, Shirdi to give land at Shirdi for Goa Sai Bhavan Shri Kamat assured all support for the project. He also assured to extend support for the Sai information centre in Goa.
Chief Minister Digambar Kamat was felicitated on behalf of Sai Sansthan and also on behalf of Shirdi Municipal Council and Local Organising Committee. Vinayak Anna Maharaj, Shashikala Kakodkar, R D Khalap, Shri Jayantrao Sasane, MLA and President of Sai Sansthan, Shirdi, Mayor of Panaji Shri Tony Rodrigues, Eknath Gondkar, Sailesh Kute, President of Shirdi Municipal Council, Kailas Bapu Kote, Anil Khaunte, President of Organising Committee, Mustafa Kadar, Ravi Naidu, Pradee Palyekar, Vivek Parsekar, Ashok Khambekar, Jyashri Sasane , Ravi Naidu were felicitated on the occasion.
MLA and President of Sai Sansthan, Shirdi Jayantrao Sasane, Trustee Ashok Khambekar, Trustee Eknath Gondkarjrustee and Suresh Wabale were amongst those who spoke on the occasion.
President of Organising Committee Anil Khaunte welcomed the guests. Dr Ajay Vaidhya and actor Jjman Verma compered the programme. Pradeep Palyekar, secretary proposed the vote of thanks.
