Goa Shipyard employee hangs to death in flat

A 29-year-old deputy manager from Goa Shipyard Limited (GSL) committed suicide by hanging himself to a ceiling fan in his flat at GSL Colony, Chicalim, on Wednesday.
According to Vasco Police, Deputy Manager Dinu Babu of Kerala committed suicide in his flat.
Police further informed that as the flat door of the deceased was closed since early Wednesday morning, neighbours intimated Babu’s parents, who reside at Vaddem-Vasco, who in turn informed Vasco Police.
Police said the deceased had married one year ago and police suspects that the deceased might have committed suicide due to frustration.
Vasco Police has registered a case of unnatural death and is investigating the case.
