PANJIM: Goa, which is amongst first three States in the country to achieve 100% coverage of first dose of COVID-19 vaccination to its eligible population above 18 years, is inching closer to covering its entire population with both the doses.
COVID-19 vaccination of children aged 15yrs to 18yrs has also attained a significant coverage of 87% of first dose and 64 % of second dose of the vaccine, said State Immunization Officer Dr Rajendra Borker in a statement issued.
Considering the significant coverage of vaccination in the State, the programme of COVID vaccination now will be integrated with Routine Immunization Programme from today onwards across all the Government Health Centres.
