PANJIm: A day after Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant claimed that only those candidates who can prove their winnability would get a party ticket for the next Assembly polls, Goa Trinamool leader Lavoo Mamledar took a jibe saying, ‘it is pretty evident that the ruling BJP had accepted that their elected representatives are incompetent.’
Mamledar added, ‘such comments are made when one is aware that they have taken the people of Goa for a ride and not fulfilled any of the poll promises. And by the way, who will decide on the winnability factor – those sitting in Delhi?’
Over two dozen people including grassroots leaders, prominent businessmen and former INC members joined Goa TMC.
