Sports Minister Govind Gaude once again informed that Goa would be ready to host the National Games in 2023. The need for Goa to host the National Games was discussed with Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant and other authorities. Gaude added that the infrastructure required for the National Games would be ready by December 2022 and that it depends on the Goa govt. to decide on a date for the same and inform the Indian Olympics Association.
