Goa is blessed with several natural springs. Pompurpa spring has always been a popular outing for the people, especially during monsoons. However, the spring has been neglected by the authorities. Although the GTDC beautified the place long ago, the toilets, changing rooms and children’s play area are in dilapidated condition. Garbage and liquor bottles are thrown everywhere. Locals have demanded that the authorities maintain the spring.
