A 20-year-old NEET aspirant from Madhya Pradesh was found dead in her rented flat in Rajasthan’s Kota on Wednesday, with police suspecting suicide.
The student, from Chhatarpur, had been preparing for NEET at a private coaching institute and had been living in Kota with her younger sister since 2023.

The sisters shifted to a rented flat in July. Police said her younger sister found her unresponsive after returning from coaching and alerted neighbours, following which the door was opened.
She was taken to MBS Hospital, where doctors declared her dead. No suicide note has been found so far. Police are investigating the circumstances, with a postmortem to be conducted after her family arrives.
