Goa resonates with fervor and devotion as it unites in the celebration of Ram Lalla’s pran pratishtha at Ayodhya Ram Mandir. This sacred occasion has woven together communities from Margao, Sattari, Panjim, Varunapuri, Bhamai, Kothambi, and Arambol, creating a shared experience of witnessing the glorious Pran Pratishta of Lord Ram.
From January 20 to 22, Margao hosted a three-day religious celebration at Shri Ram Mandir, Comba, commemorating Lord Ram’s Pran Pratishtha. The event showcased a magnificent display of celebration and dedication, featuring ornate processions, traditional music, and religious rites. Shri Rudreshwar Temple in Arambol marked the occasion with great enthusiasm. A sacred parade paid tribute to Lord Ram, followed by folk dances performed by the ladies.
At the office of Shantadurga Yuva Sanstha Guleli Sattari, a vibrant celebration unfolded as ladies danced and organized the Shri Ram Mandir Pratishthapana Utsav in collaboration with Shantadurga Yuva Sanstha Guleli, Shantadurga Mahila Mandal Guleli, and Shantadurga Mahila Parivartan Mandal Guleli. Shri Dev Chandreshwar Temple in Kothambi witnessed a grand celebration of the Pran Pratishtha with great pomp and splendor. Panjim Local residents celebrated the occasion at Shri Ram Mandir in Bhatlem with great enthusiasm. The event featured a Dindi, with locals actively participating in the performance and traditional music.
On this special day, a significant number of devotees gathered at Shri Ram Mandir in Varunapuri, Vasco, to perform pooja and participate in the recitation of devotional hymns. Bhamai witnessed joyous celebrations at Shri Malikarjun Devasthan and Shri Rampurush Devasthan as they marked the Shri Ram Mandir Pratishthapana. The communities came together to commemorate this sacred event with joy and devotion.
