PANJIM: In the wake of nationwide lockdown till mid-April, the Goa University has postponed all its scheduled examination for the current academic year 2019-20 till further notice.
In a notification issued on Thursday, the Controller of Examination GU has said that the revised schedule and time table of all exams will be notified at least 14 days prior to the commencement of the examination.
“As approved by the Vice-Chancellor and in view of the ongoing shutdown of educational institutions in Goa due to prevailing COVID-19 virus situation in the country, I am directed to inform you that all the examination of Goa University, scheduled as per the existing academic terms for 2019-20, stands postponed until further notice,” the notification mentioned.
All the deans, heads of various departments and principals of the affiliated colleges are directed to take necessary action at their end and to inform the faculty members, staff and students accordingly.
The University had earlier postponed only the examinations of under graduate courses. The Board examinations of Std X and XII have also been postponed in the State.
