PANJIM: Health Minister Vishwajit Rane informed that Virology lab at Goa Medical College will be functioning 24X7 to cater to doing maximum tests and strengthen fight against COVID-19.
Mesnwhile, three out of seven COVID-19 cured patients have completed seven days of Facility Quarantine as well as another seven days of Home Quarantine. The information was revealed through the Health Department’s daily bulletin on Sunday.
Other four cures patients are currently under seven days of Home Quarantine.
On Sunday, three COVID-19 suspects were admitted in the isolation ward of GMC. Thus, a total of four suspects are currently placed under isolation as on date. Another 11 contacts are placed under Facility Quarantine.
As per the Health Bulletin, 100 samples pending for testing of which 99 are negative while report of one is awaited.
