PANJIM: Chief Minister Pramod Sawant chaired a review meeting on Wednesday with all the departments involved in the preparations for the public meeting of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, which will be held on February 6 in Margao.
South Goa District Collector and other departments provided updates with regard to the ongoing work and discussions were held as to how to quicken the remaining works.
Speaking to media persons after the review meeting in Panjim, CM said all preparations are going on as per schedule.
He added that the State government will make a presentation of the last 10 years of Goa’s major achievements before PM Modi.
“The rally is under the banner of ‘Vikasit Bharat, Vikasit Goem-2047’ and the main highlights of the major works undertaken by the double engine government in the last 10 years will be the presentation before PM,” said Sawant.
The PM is visiting Goa to inaugurate the India Energy Week 2024, scheduled at Betul on February 6 after which he will address the rally at KTC Bus Stand, Margao.
