PANJIM: The 10thedition of the Goa’s Hospitality Show on hotel & restaurant equipment and supplies is currently underway at the Dr Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Indoor Stadium, Bambolim. The exhibition, organised by Media Promotions & Hospitality First, will remain open till August 23, from 10.30 am to 7 pm.
The exhibition is one of the biggest in the country due to the number of stalls and the national and international brands, showcasing their brands for the first time in India.
The expo was inaugurated by the chief guest Member of Parliament Sadanand Shet Tanavade, guest of honour, Ranjit Phillipose Senior VP, IHCL Goa, in the presence of special invitees general manager Taj Cidade de Goa Ashwani Anand, president of NRAI Goa Prahlad Sukhtankar, Director of Aqua Food & Beverages Pvt Ltd, Sadanand Thakur and directors of Media Promotions & Hospitality First, Kedar Dhume, Clive Sequeira and Pradeep Gopalan.
After the inauguration, the guests went around the stalls and evinced keen interest in the exhibits. The special attractions on display include kitchen and bakery equipment, exclusive cutlery, crockery, food and bakery products, bed & bathroom linen, refrigeration equipment, industrial dish-washers, IT software systems, communication & security systems, furniture, fixtures & interior decor, sound & lighting solutions, housekeeping equipment, hygiene products, water & waste management systems and other products connected to the food & hospitality industry. There are 100 plus companies showcasing over 1000 products including national and international brands.
