MARGAO: Goemkar will kick off its campaign against Mopa airport from Sunday with a meeting in the tourism hub of Cavelossim in Salcete.
The organization will hold a meeting near the Cavelossim Church on Sunday at 5 pm, which is expected to be attended by representatives of the shack and tourist taxi operators, besides other leaders. The meeting assumes significance and comes against the backdrop of the government’s decision to go ahead with the airport at Mopa.
