MARGAO: A couple was injured in a collision between a car and a scooter near Old Market Circle, Margao, on Saturday. The Margao police identified them as Subash Shirodker and Suvarna Shirodker, residents of Gogol.
Police said that based on the complaint, an offence under Sections 379,337 and 338 of the IPC was registered against the car driver, who was arrested.
Police said that Tesidorio Fernandes, 25, of Colva, drove his car in rash and negligent manner, while proceeding towards Borda and hit the scooter, which was proceeding towards KTC Bus Stand, Margao.
