Gokuldas elected Balli sarpanch
MARGAO: Gokuldas Gaonkar is the new sarpanch of Balli panchayat.
In the elections held on Tuesday, the presiding officer Guna Tuemkar declared Gokuldas elected unopposed after receiving his lone nomination paper.
After his election, the new Sarpanch said the body has been formed with the support of local MLA Babu Kavlekar and Urban Development Minister Joaquim Alemao. He said the new body would take up development with support of Alemao.
and Kavlekar and disclosed plans to complete all pending works.
