PANJIM: The Calangute Police have booked unidentified person for snatching a gold chain from a Maharashtra native. According to the police, Rakesh Kashinath Kharade, resident of Raigad, Maharashtra, lodged a complaint that near Thomas Residency, Maddowado, Calangute, an unknown person snatched his gold chain weighing 22 grams worth 1.5 lakh and fled from the spot. The incident occurred on May 29.
