PONDA: Gold ornament worth Rs 4 lakh belonging to a 37-year-old widow from Wadi Talavalim has been stolen from a local hospital locker, where she works as a cleaner.
According to the victim, since her house was under repairs, she had kept her all gold ornament such as her bangles, necklace, ear rings, rings etc in the hospital locker.
She demanded thorough police inquiry into the matter. She is the only earning member in family. She has two minor children.
The hospital in-charge of the said hospital had also filed complaint about theft case at Ponda Police Station.
