PANJIM: As all schools reopen today, after a gap of two years owing to the COVID-19 pandemic, Chief Minister Pramod Sawant said the State will observe the situation for the next fortnight before taking a decision. The government is however in no mood to impose any restrictions on the functioning of the schools.
“COVID-19 cases are rising but we will observe the situation for 10-15 days and decide accordingly. No restrictions are imposed as of now,” he said speaking to reporters on Sunday.
Sources said that the State has set everything for the school reopening and school authorities are already given proper instructions regarding the elaborate arrangements to be made for the school reopening.
