PONDA: The government will soon start an agriculture college at Codar-Ponda where B.Sc in Agriculture, a four-year degree course, will be offered, State Agriculture Minister Ravi Naik said. The minister said that the government has initiated all the required procedures for the opening of the college.
“If the plan works out, there is a possibility that the first-year college will begin from the year 2022 at the administrative complex building of Codar Farm.
Naik was addressing the media at Ponda after launching a saplings’ distribution programme organised by the State Agriculture Department.
Zonal Agriculture Officer Nagesh Komarpant and others were also present.
