PANJIM: Goa Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari and Chief Minister Pramod Sawant led the people of the State in paying tributes to martyrs by placing wreaths on the occasion of Goa Revolution Day at the Martyrs Memorial, Azad Maidan in Panjim on Friday.
Union Minister of State for Defence, Shripad Naik; Chief Secretary, Parimal Rai, IAS; Chief Electoral Officer, Kunal, IAS; Secretary, Information and Publicity, Sanjay Kumar, IAS; Heads of Goa Police, Secretaries to Government and senior Government officials were among those present on the occasion. In view of the COVID 19 pandemic the function was held by observing all the norms of social distancing and was not open for any guest or general.
