PANJIM: Governor P S Sreedharan Pillai met His Eminence Filipe Neri Cardinal Ferrao at the Bishop’s Palace, Altinho, Panjim on Friday, and congratulated him on his appointment as Cardinal.
Present on the occasion were Cardinal’s Secretary Fr Joaquim Loiola Pereira; Chancellor, Archbishop’s House, Fr Romeo Monteiro and Assistant Prosecutor Fr Mario Souza.
His Eminence Filipe Neri Cardinal Ferrao was inducted into the College of Cardinals in Rome last month during the Consistory Ceremony for the Creation of Cardinals.
