PANJIM: Governor Satya Pal Malik has summoned the Goa Legislative Assembly on July 27, at 11.30 am.
The notification issued by Malik says “In exercise of the powers of Article 174 of the Constitution of India. I, Satya Pal Malik, Governor of Goa, hereby summon the Legislative Assembly of the State of Goa to meet at Assembly hall on Monday, July 27, 2020, at 11.30 am.”
The Monsoon Session will most likely be for three weeks though the exact duration is yet to be decided, Speaker Rajesh Patnekar informed reporters, on Monday.
The last session of the House was held in February in which Chief Minister Pramod Sawant had announced the Budget.
