Goa Governor PS Sreedharan Pillai’s Address to the Goa Assembly on Monday 16th January 2023, made no mention of the Mhadei river water issue. Due to this Opposition MLA who wore black as a sign of protest, created raucous during the Goa Governor’s address due to which they were evicted from the house. In his address Governor Pillai said, mining auctions will pave the way for full-scale re-starting of mining. In his address, he also gave deadlines for the completion of the left-hand side of the Zuari bridge and the Mopa Link road.
Goa Governor PS Sreedharan Pillai in his address to the Goa assembly on Monday said that the completion of Mopa International airport was a game changer; that the left-Hand side of the new Zuari Bridge, the Western bypass and the link road to Mopa will be completed by end of 2023.
