MARGAO: The State government has given assurances of constructing the Chinchinim panchayat ghar and addressing the power woes in Velim constituencies urgently through the installation of new transformers.
Informing about his meeting with the CM, Velim MLA Cruz Silva said, “I met Chief Minister Pramod Sawant to discuss the Chinchinim panchayat ghar project. After numerous visits to various offices, I got a positive response from the CM himself. In fact, he signed to expedite it immediately.”
He further said that he also met Power Minister Sudin Dhavalikar. “He assured that 8 more transformers will be installed within 3 months and that all the faulty street lights will be replaced immediately,” Silva said.
The MLA said that he met the PWD officials to take up the issue of cutting bushes on all main roads in the constituency.
