PANJIM: The Department of Personnel on Monday issued a circular informing that no leave will be granted to top government officers till August 24, in view of VVIPs visit to the State.
“In view of the VVIPs visit scheduled in the state of Goa, no leave of any kind shall be sanctioned to/by Secretaries to the Government, Head of Departments and other senior officials, except in exigencies, if approved by the Chief Minister, till August 24, 2023,” reads the circular issued by the Department of Personnel.
It is pertinent to note that President of India Droupadi Murmu will be in Goa on a three-day visit from August 22 to 24. The President is likely to address a special session of the State Legislative Assembly at 4 pm on August 23, as part of her programme in the State.
