PANJIM: Save Mhadei has ridiculed the claims of win before the Supreme Court (SC) made by the government of Goa. They have questioned why the government is not making submissions even as the SC is on the verge of vacating the stay issued to Karnataka in going ahead with the Detailed Project Report (DPR) for diversion of River Mhadei.
Hrudaynath Shirodkar while addressing a press said, “The SC has asked the Karnataka government to file revised DPR within 10 days in their recent order. The filing of the revised DPR is as good as an order vacating the stay of Karnataka to undertake work of diversion.”
