PANJIM: The Goa government has constituted an Information Technology (IT) Advisory Council for promotion of Start-up and IT Industries in the State with Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant as its chairperson and Minister for IT Rohan Khaunte as co-chairperson.
The IT Advisory Council will advise the State on measures needed to build a strong Start-up and IT ecosystem which would help to drive sustainable economic growth and generate large scale employment opportunities.
The other members include Secretary (IT); Co-founder and Chairman, Aarin Capital, Mohandas Pai; Goa Public Service Commission (GPSC) chairman Jose Manuel Noronha; Dempo Group of Companies chairman Shrinivas Dempo and other corporate representatives.
