‘Govt contemplating to regularise tenements in Housing Board colonies’

VASCO:  Minister for Housing, Transport and Panchayati Raj Mauvin Godinho said the State government is contemplating on regularising the tenements in Housing Board colonies in the State. 
Speaking at annual Navratri function organized by ‘Understanding Boys’ at Chamundeshwari Temple in Housing Board Colony at New Vaddem,  he said, “Once regularised, the tenants occupying the tenements in Housing Board colonies will get their legal ownership rights. 
Godinho said, “As Minister for Housing, I will make sure that the housing scheme is implemented as early as possible so that the occupants can have their legal rights on their tenements.” 
He announced that the much awaited grade separator will be inaugurated before year-end, resolving the issues of traffic congestion in and around Dabolim airport.
The first three winners in All Goa Solo Dance Competition were – Nikita Kilgeri, Vinay Murti and Manjula Kilgeri, while consolation prizes went to Ashwet Pilankar and Yash Haldankar. Pratiksha Hadali, Arthi Salunke and Kaveri Madar were the first three winners in the Rangoli competition. Annapurna Harijan won the musical chair contest. 
Journalist Sudesh Bhosle, social worker Brahma Pawar, artiste Sainath Amonkar, Sagar Chawhan, Shashikant Khanolkar, Chamundeshwari Temple Committee president Umesh Harijan, Understanding Boys president Rohit Harijan and Yallava Harijan were present.
