MARGAO: Nuvem MLA Wilfred D’Sa on Sunday revealed a “secret” that the government discriminates constituencies represented by the Opposition parties.
Addressing a function organised to felicitate the newly elected Majorda Samson Gonsalves, D’Sa said that he “is experiencing how files move and projects are passed, when in power.”
“As soon as I was elected, I had submitted proposals for various projects. However, except for some roads, files of some big projects like Panchayat Community hall, 10-bedded hospital at Loutolim Health Centre, playground and others never moved for the last two years,” he said.
“But after joining the ruling BJP, the chief minister has given priority orders to take up my proposals in Nuvem,” he said.
“Projects like Loutolim Health Centre, Majorda Panchayat ghar and others have been my election assurances to the people and the chief minister has assured to get them moving and done,” D’Sa said.
Meanwhile, Samson said that his priority for the village would be panchayat ghar and the streamlining of the garbage and sewage system.
