PANJIM: The Goa Government Employees Association (GGEA) has reiterated their request of implementation of Old Pension Scheme (OPS).
The GGEA delegates met Minister of State for Ports, Shipping, Waterways and Tourism, Government of India, Shripad Naik requesting to reach the voice of State government employees in the Lok Sabha.
GGEA President Prashant Devidas requested the Minister for the implementation of Old Pension Scheme to all employees who joined after 2005.
Devidas has informed that the Minister has replied positively to their request. The association has also sought to meet the Prime Minister of India to pursue the matter and has assured to make an attempt.
The GGEA delegation lead by President Shri Prashant Devidas, Vice president, Shri Prabhakar Adel, Treasurer Shri Abhay Mandrekar, Executive Members Shri Subhash Mapari, Shri Abhishek Gawas, Shri Kirti Naik, and Shri Kishor Naik were present.
