…Govt enforcing starvation on people in name of curfew

MARGAO: The Aam Aadmi Party on Monday said that a clueless government was enforcing starvation on the people in the name of ‘Janta Curfew’. AAP leader Ramiro Mascarenhas said that that AAP has been persistent in demanding list of the do’s and don’ts from the government to be followed during the extended ‘Janta Curfew’.

The AAP claimed that the police were shutting shops opened even for a limited period this morning to allow people to buy essential commodities and asked whether the government was enforcing starvation against the people by shying away from issuing clear instructions.

“It appears that there are too many ignorant people in this government who are unfit to handle this situation. If it is a curfew as it is named to be, then they should know that even curfew was relaxed for certain hours to allow people to buy essential commodities,” said Ramiro.

“The Chief Minister requested the people not to hoard commodities. Now, his police are not allowing people to buy basic needs of even children and elderly,” said Ramiro, once again suggesting that clear instructions be issued through TV and other e-media for the benefit of both the people and authorities.
