PANJIM: Expressing possibility of disaster related to climate change that can strike State any time, the Goa government has initiated various steps to combat such incidents by way of procuring latest equipments and installing taluka-level disaster alarming centres among others.
CM Pramod Sawant has also appealed people for their involvement to help government in tackling the emergencies during disaster.
The chief minister was speaking at a function organised by the Goa State Disaster Management authority in association with Directorate of Fire and Emergency Services.
