PANJIM: The Goa government has invited ideas and suggestions from citizens to be included in the State Budget 2024-25, so as to shape a public-centric and development-oriented budget that caters to every individual.
Citizens are requested to submit their inputs at https://goabudget.gov.in or https://goaonline.gov.in/budget and contribute to the budget-making process. For any issues, they can call on mobile number: 8882988000.
The Chief Minister has appealed to everyone to contribute to building a budget that reflects the requirements of every Goan.
Meanwhile, representatives of tourism, finance, agriculture and hospitality sectors submitted their suggestions to the Chief Minister as part of ongoing pre-budget consultations. Also, suggestions regarding taxation, taxi issue, visa on arrival and loans were submitted to the government by the stakeholders.
Sawant asserted that his government aims to maximum digitisation and offer most services online with the objective of increasing the happiness index of the State. Sawant will present his fifth State budget during the brief session of the State Legislative Assembly session starting from February 2.
