PANJIM: In a bid to streamline information about vacancies in the private sector, the State government has asked all the employers to notify vacancies as well as obtain NOC for advertising vacant posts through the media, campus interview or any other mode of advertising or interview from the Regional Employment Exchange.
“All private firms will have to ask for NOC from Labour Department before advertising posts. Circular to this effect has already been issued and implementation of the same will commence from June 10,” Labour Minister Rohan Khaunte said.
Employers will have to submit an application for NOC to the Employment Officer in Office of Commissioner Labour & Employment through online and the Employment Exchange will convey necessary NOC within 48 hours . In event of non-processing of online application by the Employment Exchange within 48 hours, the NOC will be conveyed online to the applicant.
