PANJIM: The State government has nominated the stakeholders from the field of real estate, planning and architecture on the committee constituted to scrutinise and review the outline development plans (ODPs).
In an order issued on Friday, Chief Town Planner (CTP) Rajesh Naik has appointed representatives from the Confederation of Real Estate Developers Association of India (CREDAI), Indian Institute of Architects (IIA), Institution of Engineers, India (IEI) and Institute of Town Planners, India, Goa Regional Chapter (ITPI) on the committee.
A 10-member committee headed by CTP Rajesh Naik was constituted to scrutinise and review the ODPs and submit report within 60 days. The committee has met twice so far.
Minister for Town and Country Planning Vishwajit Rane said that all the stakeholders will be involved in the planning process.
“The representatives will not only be special invitees but also be part of the committee constituted by the government to review ODPs. Their expertise will be useful in the planning process,” he tweeted.
