PANJIM: The Town and Country Planning (TCP) Department has notified ‘correction’ of zone for 27,384 square metres of land in the Regional Plan 2021 in the villages of Assagao, Revora, Chimbel, Corlim and Loutolim as per provisions of sub-section (2) of Section 17 of the Goa TCP Act.
A plot of land admeasuring 1,000 square metres surveyed under Survey No. 147, sub-division No. 9, of Assagao village, which is earmarked as natural cover with part area under Irrigation Command Area as per Regional Plan Goa-2021 has been corrected as settlement zone.
Similarly, a plot of land admeasuring an area of 4,000 square metres surveyed under Survey No. 32, sub-division No. 1 and Survey No. 31, sub-division No. 4 of Revora village, which is earmarked as orchard with No Development Slope as per the Regional Plan-2021 has been corrected as settlement zone with No Development Slope.
Land admeasuring an area of 15,533 square metres, surveyed under Survey No. 34, sub-division No. 1 (Part), of Chimbel village, which is earmarked as orchard as per Regional Plan Goa-2021 is corrected as settlement zone.
Also a plot of land admeasuring an area of 4,158 square metres, surveyed under Survey No. 60, sub-division No. 5, of Corlim village which is earmarked as General Industry as per RPG-2021 is corrected as settlement zone.
A plot of land admeasuring an area of 2,693 square metres, surveyed under Survey No. 334, sub-division No. 2-A, of Loutolim village, which is earmarked as orchard as per Regional Plan-2021 has been corrected as General Industry.
