PANJIM: Power Minister Nilesh Cabral announced that the State government has plans to establish 100 mv decentralised ground-mounted solar projects on government lands.
He was speaking to the media persons about the steps being taken by the Power Department and Department of New and Renewable Energy (DNRE).
Further, Cabral added that the government also has plans to replace around 11,000 agriculture pumps with BEE star rated energy efficiency pumps sets (EEPS).
Furthermore, he added that the government plans to distribute around 16 lakh LED bulbs for domestic households.
