PANJIM: Protesting taxi owners have alleged that the government was planting its agents into the taxi unions in a bid to break taxi operators’ agitation.
Activist Sudip Tamankar said that he was not allowed to be a part of the delegation that met the CM on Monday and the so called agents tried to break the Pernem taxi operators, who have been demanding a counter for yellow and black taxis at the Mopa airport.
Tamankar said that as per the MV Act, the govt has to provide a counter for yellow-black taxis and permits by the Regional Transport Authority (RTA).
