BICHOLIM: GSIDC Vice Chairman Dr Pramod Sawant said the government has started private investigation in the delay in works undertaken by the Corporation during the last five years.
“Following a demand from Sanquelim BJP Block members, we have started private investigation in the delay of some works undertaken during the Congress rule,” Sawant told Herald.
“We suspect that low quality material was used for construction and several contractors were given charge. There was also lack of co-ordination between the then MLA, contractors and the GSIDC chairman and vice-chairman,” stated Sawant.
