panjim:The government has invited suggestions and ideas from the public to conduct activities in various fields for its proposed year-long celebration to mark the 60th year of Goa’s Liberation that was launched on December 19. 2020.
“The government has decided to commemorate the significant and momentous occasion of the 60th Year of Goa’s Liberation by commemorating it as a State program with year-long programmes/ activities in various parts of the State and across India,” the government added.
Ideas can be emailed to goaliberation60@gmail.com on or before January 20.
The programme includes various competitions and events aimed at showcasing Goan art, culture, food, and journey of the State.
