The department of Town and Country Planning (TCP) has moved a file to the government proposing to constitute either a state level or district level committee to study and scrutinize various comments submitted by the public for making necessary changes to the land plan.
Highly placed sources said that it is for the government to decide whether to constitute a State Level Committee headed by the Chief Secretary or a District Level Committee for going through all the fresh public inputs and to recommend their incorporation in the land plan. “Genuine comments, suggestions and objections would be looked into. Also those pending 3500 suggestions would be also considered,” sources said.
The plan was opened on December 1 and will remain open for public comments till December 30. Government intends to notify the new plan by April 1, 2016.
