To help Class X and XII students going through psychological stress ahead of the board exams, the State government has decided to provide counselling facilities.
Goa Education Development Corporation (GEDC) has created the email gedc.studentdistress@gmail.com that students can write to with queries.
Students registering for sending queries will have to submit the name of the school from the area, for providing a local counsellor.
Counsellors will address issues through telephonic conversations or video conferencing and if needed one-to-one sessions will be be arranged at designated schools. Schools have been asked to encourage students to send queries.
