Govt told to keep info on PSA Plant ready

PANJIM: The High Court of Bombay at Goa has directed the State to keep information ready regarding availability and functionality of PSA Plant over adequate oxygen considering rise in COVID-19 cases in the State.

During an ongoing hearing of a petition regarding COVID-19 management on Tuesday, Additional Government Advocate Maria Correia informed the court that affidavit-in-reply has been filed but urged for a short adjournment to enable Advocate General Devidas Pangam to address this Court in this petition.

The Bench of Justice Sadhana Jadhav and Justice Manish Pitale was informed that AG has tested positive for COVID-19.

The court agreed to adjourn the matter for further consideration on January 27, 2022.

“In the meanwhile, further information may be kept ready on behalf of the respondent State in respect of the availability and functionality of PSA plant for adequate oxygen in the case of need for supply of oxygen in view of the surge in COVID-19 numbers,” it said.
