PONDA: The OBC Mahasangh on Tuesday demanded government to fill the Post of OBC commissioner fallen vacant since February.
Addressing the media, Mahasangh Goa President Madu Naik said that the OBC population with 19 communities is more than 50 per cent and despite this the community is deprived of government schemes and struggling for their demands.
He requested the Chief Minister to immediately look into the matter so that the OBC communities are not deprived of their benefits they were obtaining through the OBC Commission.
Naik also urged the government to provide scholarship of OBC students which is pending.
