Govt urged to focus on protecting environment

President of Save Goa Front has urged the government to concentrate on the protection of environment, Goan land and the poorest of the poor in the state.
SGF President Antonio Gauncar also requested the UPA government to intervene and direct the state government to look into these problems seriously and take action at the earliest.
Gauncar reiterated his demand for diversion of heavy vehicles from Patradevi to Dodamarg via Honda, Usgao, Sanguem, Canacona, and Pollem to solve the highway problem faced by the people of the State.
