PANJIM: The Greater Panaji Planning and Development Authority (GPPDA) adopted the Land Use Map and Register of Panaji planning area.
In a public notice issued on Monday, the GPPDA has said that the authority has unanimously resolved to adopt the Land Use Map and Register of Panjim planning area, after undertaking the modification based on the suggestions and objections received from the public.
The Panjim city was included in the planning area under GPPDA in November 2019. The Land Use Map and Register was drafted in August 2020 and the same was kept open for public views. The Department of Town and Country Planning (TCP) had accordingly put in place a committee to hear the public objections and prepare and submit the report to the GPPDA.
“The GPPDA considered the report of the committee with some modification and unanimously resolved to adopt the Land Use Map and Register of Panaji Planning area,” the notice reads.
“The public are informed that the Land Use Map and Register will be available for inspection at the office of the Corporation of the City of Panaji (CCP) and the GPPDA office,” it added.
