Pernem: The GPQ Contractor Pvt Ltd has filed a complaint against a company which is involved in constructing Mopa Airport for holding back payments to their workers. When contacted, Mopa Airport Police Station PI Mahesh Kerkar confirmed about the complaint and said that the issue will be solved after both the parties will be brought together for a talk.
s per the complaint, the company owes Rs 38 lakh to GPQ.”We have not received papers regarding what kind of contract GPQ had with the Unique Engineering company. We don’t know how much salary was paid and how much is pending. Once we receive the papers of the contract, the issue will be solved,” said a company official when contacted.
However, GPQ’s official Gopal Yadav claimed that the respective documents were presented two months back.
