BICHOLIM: The Bicholim Deputy Collector Sachin Desai has ordered to keep open grocery shops and pharmacies in Bicholim Taluka with people maintaining necessary social distancing.
Accordingly, later foodstuff shops were opened in the market and other areas. Thereafter, many people were seen purchasing essential commodities by keeping a safe distance. The officials of Bicholim Municipal Council were seen walking around asking shopkeepers to open shops.
Deputy Collector Desai informed that an order has been issued to streamline the supply of essential food grains to people in rural and urban areas with ease.
